Here are some photos of the amazing Bridesmaids Luncheon from this past weekend. In our family it is tradition, on the day before the Wedding, to have a “Bridesmaids Luncheon” where the bride is hosted by all the “Aunts” and introduces all of her Bridesmaids to the women of the Bride and Groom’s families.

Given that the luncheon was after Valentine’s Day, we decided to go with a more burgundy and lavender color scheme, rather than any traditional reds, and making it modern in the type of flowers.

Since the Bride’s Groom is in the Travel and Vacations Industry and the two enjoy traveling together, the common theme for the luncheon was “Lifelong Adventures”. Each guest had a luggage tag as a place setting with their name and address. The napkins were also tied together with a Pom Pom ball used to decipher any ordinary black suitcase.  The Pom Poms were also very special, as the Bride’s late great grandmother used to make them for the family.

The luncheon was a chance for all the bridesmaids to get to know one another a little better before the big day.  At this time, the Bride also gifted each Bridesmaid with a special card and gift.

Below are the four sisters and the host –  the Bride’s Grandmother, the Bride’s Mother and her three Sisters.  Also pictured, the Bride’s only sister and Maid of Honor.

The luncheon was hosted in the Rialto Suite of the Hotel Monaco.  The florist used was Hens and Chicks and the linens were from La Tavola.
